Edwardian Black Looped Ribbon Work Silk Jacket

Only 1 available

This beautiful jacket from the early 1900's is made of black silk, overlaid with an elaborate netted/looped ribbon layer of silk thread. The loops extend past the sleeves and the hem of the jacket for a very delicate effect. With hook-and-eye closures at the front. Some splits in the fabric around shoulders (see last image) and some pulls in the ribbon work, otherwise in good antique condition.

Bust ~34" (when closed)
Sleeves ~27"
Length ~25"
