This outstanding 1930s bias cut plum velvet gown has a label that reads “Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, Model gowns”
Condition is very good, the only damage being 1 1/2” repair in the lower front hem.
Features a draped back, and long train, there is gathering at the bodice, and angled seams through the hip area. This dress slips over the head and has no back or side closure.
Measurements- laying flat- (so double for circumference)
Shoulder to shoulder: 17”
Shoulder to end of Train: 84”
Shoulder to front hem: 60”
